Phobia:
The article is about a normal phobia called as social anxiety or social phobia, many a times people will thing that what should be a social phobia but here is the clear and easy definition of social phobia.
What is social Phobia?
The person feels any kind of extreme self-consciousness,
anxiety or shyness during class presentation, proposing someone,
on date or party and behave in very conscious manner then it can
called as that person is having social phobia likewise at the time of class
presentation if you try to avoid presentation or feel extreme shy and not
able to make eye contact with public or fail to express your views frankly or
not able to ask questions in class room or not able to interact with your senior
anxiety or shyness during class presentation, proposing someone,
on date or party and behave in very conscious manner then it can
called as that person is having social phobia likewise at the time of class
presentation if you try to avoid presentation or feel extreme shy and not
able to make eye contact with public or fail to express your views frankly or
not able to ask questions in class room or not able to interact with your senior
(lecturer or teacher) in front of whole class then it’s time for you to get cured for this,
because for every situation it is saying that the more you avoid the worse it become.
Why Do Some People Develop Social Phobia?
There are some basic reasons that why a person develop
social phobia as mentioned below:-

1.Biological make up :
Social phobia could be partly due to the genes and temperament a person inherits. Inherited genetic quality from parents and other relatives can influence how the brain senses and regulates anxiety, shyness, nervousness, and stress reactions. Likewise if a person is born with shy temperament and is use to behave in very conscious manner during party and prefer only the familiar things and always wanted to be in comfort zone (a familiar zone) only, then person can develop social phobia basically shyness is the big weak point of any person that can extract him or her to social anxiety.
2.Life events and experiences :
This is the most effecting factor which can create a strong social phobia in a person. if a person is born and brought up or still living in surroundings where people always bully him or make a fun of him for anything he/she do or being criticized or humiliated, or having other fears and worries can make it more likely for a shy or fearful person to develop social anxiety.
3.Feeling lonely or disappointed over missed opportunities for friendship and fun :
If a person feels very lonely by keep thinking that she/he don’t have enough good friends or family or no one is there for him/her to listen their problems and help them out and keep them self locked for hours and hours in their house or don’t want to attain birthday party, or any social event. Then also it can develop social phobia into a person’s mind.
Now you people might be thinking that you don’t have such phobia it can be possible but only at the time when you can frankly interact with an unknown person. It means person
having social phobia will not face any problem to interact with his or her know regular friend or family member but he or she would feel very shy to talk to any unknown person like such as a teacher or students they don't know or in certain places like at someone else's house.
- How such phobia can Affect person’s life:It can effect in very bad manner means it can affect negatively and can make out life hell to survive like such phobia will develop a strong fear and negative points in person suffering from it will develop that he/she is useless and can’t do anything correct and can’t attend party and social functions can’t give good public speech.So it’s better to try get rid of it then to keep avoiding such situation which feels you shy and develop a extreme self-consciousness in your mind.
- How to deal with such phobia: The best advice I would prefer to give all the people suffering from this kind of phobia is that always try to do the things what you are afraid to do. Like if you are afraid to interact to a girl on whom you have crush, then try to not avoid her or not to hide your face whenever she try to talk to you and always approach from your side first.
- Avoid Avoidance:People having social phobia might try to avoid the situations or interaction which may feel them very shy or nervous, and if you are doing same and always accept the familiar things and don’t move outside your comfort zone then sorry dear you must have to be a brave enough to deal with such things coz if you are going to avoid such situations like previous only then it will be near to impossible to you get rid from it.
- Therapists:They can help people recognize the physical sensations caused by fight-flight and teach them to interpret these sensations more accurately.Therapists can help people create a plan for facing social fears one by one, and help them build the skills and confidence to do it.This includes practicing new behaviors. Sometimes, but not always, medications that reduce anxiety are used as part of the treatment for social phobia.
- Family or friends :Are especially important for people who are dealing with social phobia. The right support from a few key people can help those with social phobia gather the courage to go outside their comfort zone and try something new.Putdowns, lectures, criticisms, and demands to change don't help — and just make a person feel bad. Having social phobia isn't a person's fault and isn't something anyone chooses.
- Instead, friends and family can encourage people with social phobia to pick a small goal to aim for,remind them to go for it, and be there when they might feel discouraged.Good friends and family are there to celebrate each small success along the way.
- Dealing with social phobia takes patience, courage to face fears and try new things, and the willingness to practice. It takes a commitment to go forward rather than back away when feeling shy.
- Little by little, someone who decides to deal with extreme shyness can learn to be more comfortable. Each small step forward helps build enough confidence to take the next small step. As shyness and fears begin to melt, confidence and positive feelings build. Pretty soon, the person is thinking less about what might feel uncomfortable and more about what might be fun.
BUT THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS THAT NOTHING CAN DESTROY YOURSELF WITHOUT YOUR PERMISSION SO JUST REMIND THIS THAT NOT LET ANY MINUTE PHOBIA TO DESTROY YOUR LIFE, RELATIONSHIP AND BEST THING YOUR LIFE TIME OPPURTUNITIES.
